Five key takeaways from this episode:
- If you have trauma and want to try tapping as a way to release that trauma, make sure you are working with an EFT professional, at least for the first time. Because you’re already stuck in that place, the safest way for you to try this technique is with someone who is trained in how to do tapping properly and understands how this may affect people.
- Emotional Freedom Technique is based on the energy in our bodies. Experiences that we have can get trapped in our energetic body if we don’t know how to release them. When we heal the energetic component within our mind, magical things can happen.
- Studies have shown that tapping can reduce cortisol levels of up to 43%. Cortisol is the primary stress hormone in your body, and controls the fight or flight response. Tapping and breathing for just 5 minutes every morning an give you more clarity in your life.
- Tapping allows you to accept however you are feeling. You can rate how intense that is for you before you start tapping. This will help you see how effective this technique is for you once you have gone through the whole process. Check in with yourself and see if that energy is moving and shifting for you.
- There are 9 basic meridian points that are used in EFT. The first one is the side of the hand, which some people also call the karate chop point. The next one is called the eyebrow point, which is the part of your eyebrow closest to your nose. The next point is the outside of your eye, on the bone, not the temple. The next one is under the eye, along the same bone as the last two points, just above the fleshy part of your cheek. The fourth point is under your nose, above your upper lip. The next one is under your lower lip, where there is a crease between the lip and the chin. The next one is the collarbone point. It’s slightly to the right or left of the center of your body. The next point is underneath the arm. This is about 3-4” below the armpit. The last point is right on the top of your head.

Five key takeaways from this episode:
- It’s ok to pivot. Trying new things helps you identify what you don’t like about certain things, what you want to hold onto moving forward, and what you want to let go of. Follow the breadcrumbs.
- Mistakes can be blessings. Sometimes you have to take a step back before you can step forward. Your ego and scarcity mindset can convince you that your dreams aren’t safe. Learn the lessons so that you can continue to grow. Pay attention to what lights you up. This is the key to where you are headed.
- Surround yourself with people that life you up and hold space for you. The can be there to support you, to guide you, an listen when you’re unsure about something. Have the courage to step out and have genuine conversations.
- Writing can be a journey and a healing process. It can not only provide clarity, it can also be fun. Allow messages to come through you. You never know how much you sharing can help others. Channeled messages come from your higher self, and they speak only the truth. Writing is a beautiful way to communicate. It’s a personality all on its own.
- What you have to say is important. If you’re unsure where to start, begin journaling from a journal prompt. This will help get the creative juices flowing, and get you used to the feeling of putting pen to paper. What you learned in school about writing didn’t allow you to tune into the way you really want to express yourself. Allow your creativity to come out to play now. Clear your mind, let go, and have fun with the process.

15. Your Feelings Are Valid
Tuesday May 31, 2022
Tuesday May 31, 2022
In the wake of so many recent tragedies, it's important to give yourself (and others) permission to feel whatever is coming up. Don't let anyone tell you that your feelings don't matter, and be thoughtful to not do that to others either.
Thank you for letting me process my feelings with you in this episode. It was very therapeutic for me. I invite you to have conversations with those you trust so that you can begin to transmute the energy as well.

Five key takeaways from this episode:
- We’re all born with intuition, and we all receive it in different ways. If you’re a visual person, messages may come to you as something you see or can visualize. Auditory people may hear messages. Others may smell or taste something. And some people just have a knowing.
- Intuition speaks in whispers in your own voice. It’s easy to let logic take over and talk you out of whatever your intuition is trying to tell you, but there is no harm in listening to that soft voice. The more you trust these messages, the more you will be rewarded with additional insight and guidance.
- Your spirit team always has your highest and best interests at heart. While you may not always want to hear the messages they give you, it will always come from a loving place. They will never speak to you in a negative, naysayer voice. Practice acknowledging these intuitive messages by journaling them in a notebook or putting them in the notes app in your phone. The more you ignore the wisdom, the less you will receive.
- Your worth isn’t proven by doing and achieving. You don’t have to work harder and longer hours to be successful. The patriarchal system has been engrained in us and is passed down through cellular memory and DNA and guilts us into DOING, when we would be better off resting or just BEING. Honor your natural cycles and wisdom and plan your work accordingly. You don’t have to be “on” every day.
- Don’t get too distracted by what others are doing and how they are doing it. It’s great to take inspiration from others, but don’t get caught up in their strategies. It may not apply to your business, which can lead to you telling yourself stories that you’re not working hard enough. This leaves you feeling depleted and out of alignment. People can feel this and will be repelled by this energy. Have a balance between what you learn from others and your own inner compass. You don’t need to look outside yourself for answers.
- Bonus takeaway. Ask for help when you need it. Don’t keep quiet or think you have a dumb question. You can only help others if you ask questions yourself. You are not alone on this journey.

13. Celebrating One Year Sober
Tuesday May 17, 2022
Tuesday May 17, 2022
Living life without alcohol wasn’t something I set out to do, but it’s one of the best things that could have happened. For the first time in my life, I invested in myself, and it changed the way I viewed everything. I faced my shadows and came to know my highest self. I had no idea this girl, and this life, existed. Thank you for letting me share my journey with you.

12. Spiritual Mediumship with Orly Altaras
Tuesday May 10, 2022
Tuesday May 10, 2022
Orly is a spiritual medium who recently moved to Los Angeles with her two kids. Her dad passed away almost 3 years ago, and she’s been on a journey of discovery since then. She’s been on a quest to see the bigger picture and understand what her soul knew to be true for her whole life, and she has been able to tap into her highest potential by connecting to the other side.
Connect with Orly: www.instagram.com/laraandlou
Five key takeaways from this episode:
- Childhood lessons like “treat others as you would like to be treated” are the strings that lead you on the path to who you become. When these good memories surface, think of them as a coming home of sorts.
- If you’re looking to connect with souls that have crossed over, asking them out loud to show you a sign that they are with you, can be a very powerful place to start.
- The more you connect with spirit guides and loved ones who have crossed over, you may be able to tell the difference between your own thoughts and the messages that are being downloaded. However, the messages will be a whisper of your own voice. Be patient as you recognize how these gifts come through for you.
- When connecting to other realms, it is important to stay grounded. We don’t want to go there, we want to invite the connection to happen where we are. We can’t understand other worlds with the human mind. Bring the light to you.
- One of the best ways to get started to connect to the other side is through meditation. Quiet your mind from the chatter so that you can hear the whispers. Be open to whatever messages you receive. Don’t be afraid to ask for signs along the way. See the synchronicities that start happening. Believe, and they will show up.

Five key takeaways from this episode:
- Let journaling be a grounding place for you each morning. Having a place to put your thoughts, dreams, and worries can serve as a great way to start your day.
- Most often, it is our inner critic that holds us back from inner peace. We’re always looking for the next bigger and better thing, which keeps us from noticing the tiny pleasures of life. Slow down and recognize the things that bring you peace.
- Practicing gratitude, slowing down, and taking deep breaths allow us the room to notice what is beautiful and miraculous around us.
- Don’t cheat yourself out of sleep. Getting more sleep and feeling rested can do wonders for your mood, energy, skin, and digestion. You’ll also have more patience and optimism, and will perform better in every aspect of your life.
- You can’t be grateful and anxious at the same time. When you take time to notice what you are grateful for, you notice more things you are grateful for. Open yourself to small things and you’ll overflow with opportunities to be grateful.
